This game had a lot of potential. It was not used, however. This is just your basic FF/B&D campaign (not that that's bad).
Playability: I enjoy FF games when there's strategy involved, and this one had a small bit in the first scenario. In the second scenario I had very little fun...as I built a castle by the enemy town, and *EVERY* enemy unit came to attack. Once they were all dead, I just waltzed to the end.
Balance: The campaign can be difficult at a couple of parts, but a little easier than it should be.
Creativity: There wasn't much change in the triggers or such, and I didn't see much that jumped out at me as being creative.
Map Design: This needs a little work...just a big grassy field and then one area with 30 gold/stone mines and deer and trees in one little area is a little too coincidental.
Story/Instructions: They were great, except in the first scenario, when it says "If you aren't ready to fight, see the town"...so I went to the green town, talked to the mayor, and he said welcome, basically. Perhaps that's how it was supposed to go but I was confused for a bit.
