I swapped the gamedata_x1_p1 with the one in the aoe/data folder but made no difference. Should i swap it with the one in the Aoe/Games folder?

thanks burn22 for your comment
chiruscan, depend how you use the game, if you have a games folder because using userpatch and the exe loads the files from there, you have to replace the drs in the games folder.
Once replaced the original gamedata_x1_p1.drs make sure the game loads the normal files, and not from the games folder.

Hello, I'm trying to do this with a few sets of buildings, but it seems that the step-by-step was outdated due to being 2016. I would like you to re-do the step-by-step with the latest gimp, I'll be grateful.

I'm working on a patch mod, I thought it would be necessary to make the shadow correction of the game constructs, but by luck or coincidence I found this mod that with quality corrects the shadow of all the constructions of the game.

As there is the possibility of using transparency, if it was expected that the game would come with this, but it did not come. Thanks to gag2000 we can have a huge update in the graphics of the game, with the correction of the shadow of the constructions. Besides that it was very well done.
Additional Comments:
Installation is simple, just a file replacement, this mod is for The Conquerors expansion.
