This can load SLP, SMP, SMX or SLD files, and save them as SLP or SMX files(SMP is not supported at present). You can also save SLD files, but it would lose a little data. You can also import images as new frames, or export frames as images or GIF animations.
Besides open by menu, you can also by drag and drop.
SMX mode is separated frame layers by main image, shadow and outline, while SLP is combined.
On left preview area, left click to toggle animation mode, while drag view center by right button.
To move anchor, left click to select a new point, or drag by right.
When importing images by normal mode, fully opaque pixels would be main image, semi-transparent could be shadow if dark and thin enough.
Two input boxes on right hands of "Player color" and "Auto remove background color" are tolerance, larger makes pixels easier to match with player colors or removed.
"Distinct by alpha" mode can distinct pixel types by alpha channel - 255 is player color, 254 is nromal pixel, while the other shadow.
Please check if both palette and player mode are right if you save as certain file formats.
In saving SLD files, you can change the opacity and layer in memo by editing both values.
Please install 64-bit Java Run Environment 1.7 or higher version to run this. |

Hello brother,
It would be awesome if you could add frame extraction for SMX.
Thank you! |

Have you though about working with creator of SLX Studio who is also been working for months to update his tool to support SMP/SMX?
He has discord group: https://discord.gg/qEGcVzK |

@GregStein: Of course, that is what I shall do next. The only problem is that I don't know how to distinct normal color, player color and shadow in output images.
@Tempires: Well, I'd like to push the source code on GitHub, so they can visit and refer. SLX Studio bases on C#, which I do not well in. |

Thanks for posting this utility. Ever since I bought Definitive Edition I've been looking for something that would let me at least browse through the Enhanced Graphics Pack sprites.
The main option I'd like to see added (besides sprite extraction, but let's put that aside since I know that's complicated.): Is the ability to hide the anchor/that little cross that sits at the base of the sprites.
It would also be nice if there was an option to customize the background color.
Thanks again for all the hard work. ^_^ |

Hello Top Floor! I've implemented one feature to customize background color, by editing configuration file. In the future, Anchor can be hidden too, as your wish. |

Hi there, I was wondering if once a SMX file is imported into the game, it can be read as a new entry and a new unit/eye candy can be created? How is this done? |

@Charging_Knight:
That should be assigned in dat file by AGE. Set SLP name to the file name(no expansion name). |

Hi there. There appears to be an error stating that no JVM was found, when I try running the .exe file. My java has been updated to the latest version. Any idea why this might be?
