Only docks can be built on the shallows terrain.
Marsh Madness: Nothing can be built on the rock terrain around forests.

Farms aren’t the only food source. Resource piles farther away from players are larger and can be risky to collect due to the inability to fully wall. This lets there be a counter against every strategy. Armies are essential. Navies are optional.
