The Frankish kingdoms are divided and in shambles, torn apart by civil wars. Kings and Dukes vye for control of the leftovers of the Roman Empire. However, a young and ambitious rebel, claiming rights to the throne from his father, Prince Pepin of Herstal. Charles, son of one of his mistresses, intends to take his birthright, and make the Frankish kingdom greater than any state in Medieval Europe to honour his ancestor’s legacy.
