(A word of warning; my eyes were waaaaay bigger than my stomach when I put the work on this thing. There's a lot of Stuff on this very big map and there's probably gonna be some stuttering on some machines)
(This was made using a Coastal random map as its "skeleton" to save the trouble of painting giant continents from scratch and other such tedium. Is it just me or do prime number seeds always generate the best maps?)
When one woman dared to ask the burning question, "What if Kingdom of Heaven (2005) but the other way around?", this was the result. What we got here is an RPG-to-B&D single player scenario reminiscent (I hope) of the original sp campaigns, set in my very own 'In the Court of the Nameless Queen' fantasy universe. On the off chance you already know what that means, there are cameos from Olga Snake-Eye and Bear and you get to explore Jabaal and Eliath; exciting, eh? Tragically there's not really a way to include magic in this game without stacking ten million triggers on top of each other or requiring extra mods so you'll just have to fill in all the giant spiders and outer space squid gods and beautiful women who shoot fire out of their hands with your imagination.
You play as Sir Baldwin d'Arlad, a masterless and freebooting knight of Khethia whose wanderings have brought him to the war-torn islands of Outremer on the eve of yet another crusade. The great military orders of Kheth, the Knights of St. Vitus and the Knights of the Fiery Cross, are sharpening their swords and preparing to make another attempt at the walls of the holy city of Eliath, Jewel of the Desert and Sea, there to whet their blades in heathen blood.
Sir Baldwin, faced with a hard choice, has resolved to aid to the men of Outremer in their defense. This is an age of legends, and whether he stands or falls in the coming conflict, he's sure to stamp his name into the pages of history for all time.
