Great scenario, iskmalm!
The eye candy and map design are great, it looks like a realistic place, and is the perfect setting for your campaign. There is eye-candy upon eye-candy, and the towns are well done as well as the "out door" areas. AND the terrain matched the trees! :) The huge lake near the center of the map was also a nice touch, and the surrounding terrain looked good.
The map was pretty creative, it used some elements from the classic RPG, and pulled all of that off pretty well. However, it lacked many trigger tricks, and there was nothing completely new to be found here. It also looked like the author modeled it on "William Warrior of the Sun", which is a good model certainly, but holds it back from being completely original.
Perfectly balanced, or thereabouts. It is reasonably difficult to kill the troops set against you, thogh perhaps the author would want to make his next scenario just a bit harder, but the balace still rates a 5. The end boss is completely different from the rest of it. You can kill him, but it is VERY tricky to do so. If you want to know what kind of troops you need to kill him, see bottom (spoiler alert).
It is defininately playable, with a few minor bugs, most of which involving you not having to pay for things. Also, as mentioned above, the end boss is a little too hard, you mith want to take away some of the 16-odd scorpions that try to protect him. Note to users, DO NOT use the marco polo cheats, it will screw the game up.
Also, the first scenario was included by the athor as a "Learn-To-Play", which is helpful.
The story and instructions are what lets this campaign down. There WERE instructions at the beginnning, but no storyline, not much other then "Good luck". The storyline perks up in the beginning when william goes to become a member of the army, but declines again when the mayor wants his help because "You killed a lot of bandits!". The dialogue is also prone to grammatical and spelling errors. The hints section was good, though, as was the final confrontation. |

This campaign is very impressive. Everything is perfect. This author is a very knowledgeable to make such a great story. I've played many campaigns and this one is the best. The game is not too hard or too easy. Don't play this game if you are a cheater, it will screw up the game. This is a great campaign, but too bad it is too short. I just can't wait for the next one. Great Job. ***** |

The campaign was great but you could've added more scenarios. If you are planning on making another one i suggest you do so! |
