Every player starts on a small fortified isle, with sea towers and sea walls.
Of course there are many other isles with resources, with a tropical look.
Set a map size big enough for number of players, to minimize risk of overlapping bases (even the standard Fortress map suffers of this bug).
To map scripters:
I found a way to safely create water stuff for players: the water must be direct part of the player_lands. In this case I made player_lands with water, and then filled their centre with walkable terrain. But, for some mysterious reason, it works only if terrain is DIRT (at least on my pc)!
The sea gates look oblique... but it\'s the only way to make them always passable (they\'re not automatically created and oriented as with land walls).
Great! I like this script! I would appreciate your comments on -My best 5 RMS scripts yet-. Please try 'em.

This looks fantastic, even if it's basically a sea-based 'version of 'Fortress'.
Few problems with playability though:
-I had trouble getting my boats out of the gates and had to forcibly pull them through as they would always get stuck.
-Too easy: the enemy could only lauch boats to attack and when all his resources are depleted, he's there for the kill..

Thanks Chris!
The "too easy" problem is not related to this map, the computer always behaves that way on island maps: it just isn't smart enough to ferry villagers and gather resources on new islands :(
As every island map, this is much better played vs humans! Or try to start at imperial age, so you'll be bombed by cannon galleons very soon ;)
