The Conquerors 1.0c |
This is the new and vastly improved version of the Enchanted Forest Modpack. This modpack modifies many of the trees in the game by replacing them with trees made from scratch. The Oak trees have had willows, birches, and larger oaks, along with lots of underbrush, added; the Pine trees have been converted (mostly) to Redwoods, which are about 2 inches tall on the screen.
The other major change is I replaced the Leaves terrain type with a new Forest Floor, which is darker green and has logs, stumps, and other various forest undergrowth.
There also a few changes included from the Enchanted Forest Modpack: hay stacks are modified to be more realistic, and one of the flower beds is a spring (which, unforunately, can be walked over). |

Well, it looks like you've done it again. You leave me no choice but to download your mod. There, do u see what you've done? I have to wait 3 mins to see it. Keep up the good work though, and I'm looking forward to that Tolkien style mod. Seeya,

If I told you guys what I used to make this mod, you wouldn't believe me. :-)
Ask Eric The Red, he knows.
The Tolkein style Mod is going to be broken up into separate pieces until I can get a large group of Mod makers together to create the Ultimate Fantasy Modpack. It'll probably have an Elven modpack, a Treefolk Modpack, a Druids and Mages modpack, and so on and so forth. There are some limitations to what can be done in one mod, not only due to time constraints, but also because I can't change one unit for only one civ.
Tah tah! |

Ok, I got two pics of the mod.
Forest/Oak Forest
Pine Forest
First of all, this was an interesting mod; I pretty much liked it. I especially liked the altered leaves terrain and those pine trees! They are quite alternative scenario eye candies, though they wouldn't look as good in certain places like cities. I especially liked those huge tree stumps with tiny pine branches growing out from its edges and ponds alongside some trees.
However, the altered oak/decedious forest trees to me looked a little um... don't know how to say it, but overall, this mod was pretty good! |
