DESCRIPTION (ALSO IN THE README):
"A peaceful city, Briconia was the only hope for the return of the mighty Teutons. Suddenly, an attack has been thrown at the
incampment and all the military is scrambling. As a commander, it is your job to control a portion of the town to prevent
it's downfall, although it looks like there is no way around it. Being there not much anyone can do about the attack, you
will have to do your best to adjust to the changes in the war and survive this dearsome attack. Good luck!"
This map is VERY challenging and requires a lot of thinking. You have to stay focused and use your head to not only win, but stay alive.
(I've been inspired by many scenarios and different maps, so those of you who know who you are, thank-you very much.)
Comments, Suggestions, Questions? All welcome.
Have fun and enjoy! Don't get too angry! =P

Interesting and challenging, that's all I can say. It left me using every tactic and dirty trick I knew (except for cheating). Overall, it's good, but some PCs won't be able to handle it without considerable lag.[Edited on 08/01/05 @ 11:46 AM]

Well done! Engaging and exciting with excellent map design. Yes - my computer did lag a bit but nothing too major. |

You must go to the port to board the transport ship there because, well...that would spoil it. Then follow the small river and you'll get more instructions from there. I'd tell you more but I don't want to ruin it for others.
I'm sorry. It DID say that, but I suppose it goes quite fast for some.[Edited on 08/03/05 @ 06:50 PM]

Playability: 4
Overall I found this campagin quite fun though there was a bit of lag and I have a good computer. This is a campagin which I like endless battles...... Oh forgot, in an attempt to move the scorpions they got stuck in a wood trying to get to the area where the two monuments are.
Balance: 3
One thing to say here, I found it too easy on moderate. I completed it first round. Though I supose sometimes I was in a bit of trouble. The game would be better (in my opinion) if the goths could go round the other way it would make it more difficult. To defend the open gateway where your'e view starts all you need is about 7 mangonels and some archers, skirmishers and a few double handed swordsmen and you're set there. The dock never got threatened. They didn't even attempt to go to the dock. Though I did like the fact that there were no gate it made it so much better. Except the one next to your base. Make the fight last longer as well.
Creativity: 3
In my opinion, it wasn't altogether that creative but.... it was well done even if there was lag. Perhaps a sea borne attack which broke the wall because of a trebuchet etc.
Map Design: 4
I've seen better map's such as the Imperial city in Tamerlane. (Yes I know that it wasn't taking all the map) Though if there was alot of eyecandy it would obsrtuct the playability.
Story/Instructions: 3
With the word's 'town rep' I am reminded of package holiday's which I went on years ago to spain or Greece. Well anyway apart from that there is basicaly no story. Perhaps putting a character of who you actually are would help. With escaping it said the secret dock would be a place where reinforcments were coming not anything about escaping. Any way I was holding the Goths off! Instructions were non existant it didn't say anything about going downstream to escape. I thought I was going to get reinforcements.
Additional Comments: overall this is reasonably good with what I read more of this type of game is coming out soon. I will be downloading it. Yet for people who like a complete hell bent challenge this isn't for you. If you like a story this isn't for you. Yet if you like a big battle with thinking involved in it this is definatly for you. Though it is a bit easy.
