The Conquerors 1.0c |
Right... Finally. Thanks to all the help from all of you, giving me links to downloads. I have used the tutorials, and the programs, to create a very simple mod.
Basically you can now spawn Sheep and turkeys. From the farm.
Changes:
Spawn Sheep and Turkeys from Farm.
Sheep have 100+ food.
Other changes here and there. I can't remember what. Just tiny ones though. They are just things like, changes of amounts stored in Bushes, tree's ect.
KNOWN BUGS
Turkeys have no Train Sound.
Enemy sheep can be seen on map, and minimap.
Any questions, please post them here.
I am also working on Horses.
*UPDATE*
Animals now cost gold, not food.
Can now build horses.
On the test, horses were too slow, changed it too quick, so the movement speed is now 1. haven't tested that, (Opinions Please). |

You need patch 1.0c or 1.0B for the Conquerors Expansion. Back up your empires2_x1_p1.dat and quit game before you replace it with this one. Start The Conquerors Expansion, from Single Player click Map Editor and Create Scenario for the game engine to load the changes. |

Top left, under Welcome, click Main site, scroll down to Patches, there is a link to download 1.0c. To back up, copy your empires2_x1_p1 and put it into a new folder, you will need it to go back to normal. AKX files uninstall when you quit the game, if you shut down your computer while you had the game running, the Mod installed permanently. In that case you have to uninstall and reinstall AoE II. |

Right ive downloaded the patch but.
i put the back up of age of e II in aoks as TC does not have a data folder.
is that were im goin wrong?
also i deleted the empires2_x1_p1 but left the back up in the folder then i placed the farm animal one in DATA but not in a folder.
I started TC and went to standard game built a farm and no animals just a plain farm.
Thanks for your patience and concidration.

Have a copy of your origonal file. "empires2_x1_p1"
Replace the file in the folder with the farm one. Start the Game and Voila!
Should be sorted.
You dont need to use AGE to install it. Just drag and drop into the folder overwriting the DAT file. |
