I'm trying to make two armies stand still and then charge into eachother and fight on cue.
Here's the triggers:
Trigger 12: (looping)
Condition: none
Effect: Freeze all units in area for player 2
Effect: Freeze all units in area for player 3
Trigger 13: (looping)
Condition: Timer 1 second
Effect: Freeze all units in area for player 2
Effect: Freeze all units in area for player 3
(this one is so that, since the first trigger only fires every second, this one fires in the "empty" second so units don't move at all)
The next trigger is triggered when the view is changed to over top of the hero "general" of you'r ally's army. also in the trigger when the view is changed, several map revealers are created for player 1 on the battfield so he/she can view the fight scene.
Trigger 14:
Condition: Object is Visible (Duke D'Alecon)
Effect: Disable Trigger 12
Effect: Disable trigger 13
Effect: Task objects in area (opposing army, player 3) to move to location in front of allied army, player 2.
Effect: Display instructions: Duke D'Alecon: Here they come men, archers at the ready! OPEN FIRE!
As what should happen, the enemy army moves to where I tell them to in the "task" object trigger, but then, even though they are face to face, the charging army stops at the correct location, and the ally's amry just stands there, still, seemingly, frozen. I'm not sure why that's happening, but any help with this would be appreciated. (Thanks in advance!)
