How do you make Beach Terrain? I've seen it before, but I don't know how to do it.

Edit your scenario file with AOKTS.

Or try experimenting with Desert and Dirt 1 terrains until you get something you like. Also, there's a very good waves utility in the Blacksmith, it's not easy to do but it looks good.
There is no specific button, and it's not easy. You have to change the terrain tile-by-tile and you need to be familiar with coordinate planes (the x,y stuff). I find the best way to get the coordinates you need is by placing a 1x1 building (like a palisade) on a tile and then looking at its location in AOKTS. Or if you need to know a rectangle, put a building at each corner. (This will all be much easier in the next version, when I have the minimap done.)
I hope that makes sense! Reply if I need to be more clear.

so basically, you have to put the beach terrain one tile by one tile until you get the result you want? lol wow
Lol wow indeed. But like I said, the next version should make it much easier. I now have the minimap display done (no units yet, though), I just need to figure out how I'm going to link it to the other editors.

NICE. can u post a pic on here of what the beach terrain looks like? it would be greatly appriated. my aoc is down for the moment
You guys got me curious... did I get you right: Is there a completely new kind of terrain you can make with AoKTS? And we are not talking of just placing desert with the normal editor brush, or map-copying shoreless water from a template? If so, I'd like to see a screenshot of this new terrain.

Well, it's not really 'new', it's the ol' reliable shoreline terrain. We've been able to create big chunks of it before with rm scripts, but now it's possible to do with AoKTS too. It's not as hard as people think, there's an easy workaround which allows you to get 9 tiles of shoreline with only one AoKTS command. I have done it a lot of times; don't you remember the big shallow sandy field in the 'Thunder' part of 'Lightning and Thunder'?
Anyway, a pic....

Updating now would be pointless, the map has no interactivity as of yet.

Hey btw Digit, what are you planning to add to an updated version of AOKTS? If this answer is somewhere in HG, sorry, Im just too lazy to look for it
@CallousCrazyMan: DiGiT recently released a new version of AoKTS. Post 191 of AoK Trigger Studio lists the improvements and new features.

This should really be in the AOKTS thread...
But my todo list is basically handled by the bug tracker right now. Just take a look at all the open bugs. There are a few others in the works, but I'm too lazy to think of them right now.
