Just getting an opinion, the surroundings of these areas aren't done as I'm doing my best to make every area look amazing.
My question, from you looking at these, what would you recommend I do to improve these areas? I've gotten input from my older brother, and he says I need to focus on the terrain a lot, mix the grass and other things up. Please feel free to tell me what you like/don't like. It's not much to show right now, but input would be great as I go, as this is something I really enjoy and want to improve on. Here's some images, and thanks guys!
They actually look pretty good already. The terrains could be more varied and adventurous. For example, I like mixing in occasional Leaves terrain, almost just for the splash of color. Also, increased elevation could work as well if it fits the setting.

Do you by chance have a image or a recommended creator to look for some examples? I'm good visually, most of the map I've made is based off medieval pictures, and my imagination. Thanks leif!

Yeah, looks pretty good allready! some things tho, like in the second image with the waterfalls, the stone/gold mines outlines are pretty annoying. I recomend you using "pile of stone/gold", since they have no outline, you need to enable it in AGE3 tho. Also, the way that the waterfalls super Sharp upper edge as they appear out of the Caves doesnt look so good. Btw, who built a Tower up there and whats its purpous? (just askin)

Perhaps a secret base inside the caves and the tower is the lookout.
I agree with changing the stone/gold mines so they're not leaving the outlines. As for the waterfalls there's nothing really that you can do so you've done great with what you've been given .
A bit of terrain mixing as said above will make it feel a bit more loved (I touch pretty much every single tile when I make a scenario).
I would recommend either placing stone walls and researching "fortified walls" by trigger ot placing fortified gates (after unlocking them in AGE3), it would make the gate/wall convergence look quite a bit cleaner.
