Read The Ocean at the End of the Lane on Saturday. Currently reading several books at once. Among them:
-Directorate S (history of the CIA's role and involvement in Afghanistan)
-The War on Science (how power and big money try to distort science for control or profit)
-The 48 Laws of Power (distillation of the facets of power, told through historical, mythical, and folktale examples)
-The Way of Kings (haven't actually started yet, but it's thicker than a ASoIaF book)
-Fire and Blood (a history of the Targaryen dynasty)
