I noticed the other day that I had Barbarossa89 on my steam friends list. I recognized his name from occasionally browsing these forums as he is a regular poster but I didn't remember actually playing him.
Turns out we were in allies in a match I have saved on youtube from a few years ago. What is funny about this match is that it was on standard victory and felt very much like a match from the old days (i.e. on the internet gaming zone). I certainly played very poorly but we did not give up as a team so it led to a very tight finish. If you do watch I recommend either speeding up the rate or jumping to the wonder construction.

I am glad I recorded the video of this game and most of my games the last few years because I am sure the recorded game file itself would no longer work. What is wrong with this game and all the countless patches that I can't watch games from over a year ago (unless I keep countless copies of the game saved on my hardrive that are unrecoverable if lost), whereas I can still watch recorded games I have saved from 1999. Back then they actually kept it to a few necessary patches and updates.
